Catch promises an authentic dining experience, served with passion and attention, in an historic harbourside location.
We prepare elegant, ingredient-led dishes that celebrate the freshest sustainable seafood, matched with local and seasonal produce, perfectly complemented by a carefully selected drinks list, including outstanding regional craft ales, ciders and wines.
Upstairs there's Catch, and below there's Weyfish, the traditional artisan fishmonger that's the commercial heart of Weymouth's fishing community. Arrive at the right time and you'll see baskets of Portland crabs and lobsters, line-caught sea bass, mackerel and pollack, landed by the local day boats, including our own, Weyfish One and Tarka. Their catch is quickly hauled across the quayside for weighing in. That's our supply chain, start to finish.
Weymouth's historic Old Fish Market was built in 1855, to a design by renowned British architect Thomas Talbot Bury. The Grade II listed, Portland stone building has been painstakingly restored by local craftspeople to create a beautiful space for up to 46 diners, housed amongst the original features of the first floor, with views over the harbour and light flooding in through the windows of the fine clerestory roof.
